Sokoto et al. (2020) carried pyrolysis of African star apple seed cake and silk cotton seed cake in a FBR in temperature range of 300–450 C at the heating rate 10 C/min and 60 min residence time. According to their findings, at a low temperature of 300 °C, African star apple seed cake and silk cotton seed cake produced 38 % and 48 % of biochar, respectively.
